SUNRISE BEYOND, which was created as a group company of SUNRISE, a leading robot animation company, and BANDAI SPIRITS, which specializes in high-targeted commercial products, have seriously joined hands to create a new robot animation.
KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN led by Kiyoyuki Okuyama creates new mechanical designs that bring the units to life.

First Season

In 2061 CE, Japan was dominated.
It was divided and ruled by four major global economic zones, and the people of Japan lived their lives as citizens of a subordinate state.
Japan became the battlefront of the world where specialized humanoid mobile weapons, AMAIM, were deployed by each of the economic zones.

One day, Amou Shiiba, a young man who loves machines, came across an Intelligence Learning System called Gai.
This encounter set off a series of events, resulting in Amou joining the fight to regain Japan.
He boards AMAIM Kenbu, a machine that he built himself.

Second Season

Eight months had passed after the battle against the Ghost at the island of Oki.
The war taking place in Japan had yet to reach a conclusion. The NAC (North American Confederation) succeeded in implementing autonomous military AIs into practical use before the other factions, crossed borders, and invaded areas under the jurisdiction of the other three global powers to expand their territory of control. However, some were outraged and opposed the power game that ignored the existence of Japanese people. The resistance organization Yatagarasu was still fighting to regain Japan, despite being in a difficult situation after losing the Kenbu.
